Shipping and Returns Policy

Our policy for shipping, delivery, returns, refunds and cancellations. Items are shipped by independent Sellers, but BOMBALYX LTD is the official seller and stands behind every order.

1. Who prepares and ships your order

BOMBALYX LTD is the official seller of record for every order placed on Bombalyx and is responsible to you for its proper fulfilment. Items are prepared and shipped by independent Sellers, specialist shops and individuals, on behalf of BOMBALYX LTD, but your contract is exclusively with BOMBALYX LTD.

Whatever the issue, a delay, damaged device, return or refund, your point of contact is BOMBALYX LTD. You do not need to deal directly with Sellers. Email us at contact@bombalyx.tech.

2. Handling and tracked shipping

Most items ship within 1 to 3 business days after your order is confirmed. Refurbished devices pass a functional check before shipping, and custom products such as engraving or custom keyboard builds may take longer, as stated on the listing. Shipping prices and estimated delivery times are shown at checkout before you pay.

Every shipment uses tracking whenever the carrier supports it: the tracking number is added to your order so you can follow progress. Items are packed to protect electronics, including padding and anti-static protection where appropriate. Delivery times are estimates and may be affected by carriers, customs or events outside our control.

If your order has not arrived within a reasonable time, contact us at contact@bombalyx.tech and we will find a solution.

3. Returns

You can request a return within 30 days of delivery, which is more generous than the statutory 14-day cancellation period under the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 (and the equivalent 14-day withdrawal right for consumers in the European Union). Items must be returned complete, including cables, dongles, accessories and manuals, and in their original condition unless they arrived damaged, defective or not as described.

Returns are free: BOMBALYX LTD provides a prepaid return label, so you do not pay return shipping. Some items may be excluded from returns for hygiene reasons, such as unsealed in-ear headphones, safety reasons or personalisation; this is stated on the listing.

4. How a return works

1. Open the order in your account, choose “Request a return” and tell us the reason.

2. We review your request and, once approved, email you a prepaid return label.

3. Pack the item, ideally in its original packaging, and send it back with the label.

4. As soon as the return is in transit or received, we process your refund. We keep you updated by email at every step.

5. Refunds

All refunds are issued by BOMBALYX LTD, the official seller. Approved refunds are returned to your original payment method, or to store credit if you prefer. Once issued, they usually appear within 5 to 10 business days depending on your bank or card issuer.

The refund covers the item price, plus shipping, taxes and Buyer Protection fees paid for the returned item, depending on the return reason and applicable law.

6. Cancellations

You can cancel an order yourself from your account at any time while it has not been paid or shipped. If an order has already been paid but has not shipped yet, contact us quickly: we will cancel and refund it where possible.

Once the item has shipped, cancellation is handled as a return, as described above.

7. Custom and engraved products

Personalised items, such as engraving, custom keycaps or keyboards assembled to your configuration, are made for you. They may no longer be cancellable once preparation has started, and are only returnable if they arrive damaged, defective or not as ordered; this is stated on the listing before purchase.

Check engraving text and selected options carefully before confirming your order: they are reproduced exactly.

8. Digital products

Some items are digital products, such as configuration profiles, presets or guides, delivered by download immediately after payment with no physical shipping. Under UK consumer law (the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013) — and the equivalent EU rule — the right to cancel no longer applies once the download begins with your express agreement.

If a file is corrupted, incomplete or not as described, email us at contact@bombalyx.tech: we will provide a valid version or a refund.

9. Damaged, wrong or not-as-described item

If an item arrives damaged, defective or materially different from its description, including a refurbished product whose condition does not match the verified condition shown, contact us within 30 days: BOMBALYX LTD will arrange a free return and a replacement or full refund. Every order is covered by Bombalyx Buyer Protection.
